The awards and the Food Guide undergo a major overhaul to adapt to changing times and remain relevant.

Owing to COVID-19-induced restrictions, the Times Food & Nightlife Awards became more intimate, with winners felicitated in a muted ceremony. No food stalls by winning establishments were set up.

The following year, the award ceremony continued to be organised on a small scale, with no stage set up for winners. The winners were invited to an intimate venue to receive their certificates.

While the celebrations remained muted and intimate, the sought-after food stalls made a comeback, and celebrities returned to felicitate the winners.

The Times Food & Nightlife Awards, held in various cities, feature glamorous events attended by socialites and celebrities, with a promise to elevate the occasion and reach new heights.
